Terms of sale

These terms apply to every order placed on the Kinfolk website. By placing an order, you agree to them, so please read them before you check out.

Who we are

Kinfolk is a skincare studio based outside Turin, Italy. When these terms say “we” or “us”, they mean Kinfolk. When they say “you”, they mean the person placing the order.

Orders

Your order is confirmed once you receive our confirmation email. Until then, it is an offer to buy, which we may decline.

We may cancel an order if a product is out of stock, if a price was shown in error, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we do, we refund you in full, shipping included.

You can change or cancel an order until it has been packed. See changing an order for how.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include VAT for every country in the European Union. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay:

• Standard delivery is free on orders over €60, otherwise €6.
• Express delivery costs €12 on every order.

Payment is taken when your order is confirmed. We accept the payment methods listed at checkout, and we never store your full card details.

Shipping

We ship across the European Union and to the United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland. Delivery times are estimates, shown at checkout, and may vary with the courier. Orders to countries outside the European Union may be subject to local import duties, which are the buyer’s responsibility.

Returns and refunds

You can return unopened products within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Returns are free within the European Union. For hygiene reasons, opened products cannot be returned unless they are damaged or faulty.

If a product arrives damaged or faulty, tell us within 14 days and we replace it at no cost. Refunds go back to your original payment method within five working days of your return reaching us. See our returns policy for the full process.

Using our products

Our products are for external use only. Check the ingredient list before use, patch test a new product if your skin is sensitive, and stop using it if irritation occurs. Keep products away from children and out of direct sunlight.

Liability

We are responsible for the products we sell as required by law. We are not liable for losses caused by misuse of a product, by ignoring the directions on the label, or by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier strikes or extreme weather.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you live elsewhere in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of your own country.
